F'in' Comcast

I remember the days when if I wanted to buy concert tickets, I would go to ticketmaster.com or go pick up the tickets from ticketmaster at certain stores. Well, comcast has ruined that.

Last year, a friend had told me about Carrie Underwood concert that was going to be at the Liacouras Center. So, I went to ticketmaster to check for the tickets, but I couldn't find them. I had to search her website to find them.

The day of the Metallica concert, I wanted to check to see if they had released any additional tickets, so I once again checked ticketmaster.com. The show was not listed. I thought maybe it was because it was the day of the show, but other cornets for that day were listed. I had to check Metallica's website directly to find out I had to go to the Wachovia Center's website, which is powered by comcast tix.
For Wing Bowl, I had heard that I had to go to ComcastTix.com to purchase the tickets, so I didn't have to search for them.

Tonight, I was checking to see if there were any tickets left for the 2nd Billy Joel & Elton John show (once again, I had hear they were on ComcastTix.com), but the f'ing website is not working. For those two shows only, when I click the link to check for tix, it brings me to a "cannot find page, did you mean...?" search page.
Stupid Mother Fuckers!

I guess I should just go to comcasttix anytime I need tix because it looks like all Philly (and the Sovereign Bank Area in Trenton, which I'm not sure if that's the Tweeter Center or not) are on comcast.

You're a little behind on the ComcastTix thing. Comcast has been the main ticketing agent for Philly for a while now...all of events at their buildings are on there.

As for Billy Joel/Elton John concert, it sold out in 15 minutes...so if you were checking it at night, you were WAY late.

But...what's the big difference between going to ComcastTix as opposed to Ticketmaster? They are essentially the same thing, so I fail to see how Comast has ruined anything. It's your fault that you aren't aware...the change happened a while ago. Therefore, this post is ridiculous. Comcast does a lot of shit wrong, but you're putting the blame on them for your ignorance.

FYI: The Sovereign Bank Center is the new name of Tweeter....the Sovereign Bank Arena is up in Trenton. Confusing, but there's a difference.
