Easter Monday is a Holiday in Italy and a bunch of people go to the beach. Tina, Lauren, Meg, and I followed this tradition. Unfortunately, it wasn't at all sunny. In fact, it even rained, but we still managed to have a lot of fun. One of the best parts was the trampoline. It cost 1.50 euros and we got 10 minutes to jump. Tina was doing all kinds of flips and jumps, it was awesome.
Tuesday, I did a little studying and took my Art History final. It wasn't too bad and only took 45 minutes. After, I met the girls near the Pantheon for our final dinner all together in Rome. It was all really good, cheap, and it was fun.
Wednesday, I watched some ER with my roomies and then studied for my final, which I think I did decently well on. I also found out that I got an A- in my Italian class.
Friday, Tina was leaving Rome to meet up with her parents in London, so we out for cappuccini in the morning to say good-bye. That night, a bunch of people went to Botticella's for the last time. We started out with a Cinnamon shot, followed by a red-headed slut, multiple orgasm, and screw driver. Some (almost) 7 foot basketball player bought Mary and I a tequila shot. After she was good and drunk, Courtney decided to try and smoker her first cigarette, which was quite entertaining. Mary was supposed to try too, but then she changed her mind. After the bar closed, the roomies and I went to another bar we did a shot of SoCo. Needless to say, we were all feeling pretty good by the time we got home at 4am.
Saturday, I walked around alllll day (and I'm not really exaggerating). Mary, Meg, and I went to see the Castel Sant'Angelo around 9:30. On the way home, we did a little shopping, then went home for lunch. After lunch, we went to Piazza Navona for some more last minute shopping, I still had more shopping to do after everyone else was done, so I finished up around the Vatican. Then we went to dinner at Alfredo's for his famous fettuccini, which was actually really fucking good. After dinner, we had to pack.
Mary, Courtney, and Stacy left for the airport around 7:30 on Sunday morning. I had to do some more packing and my cousin picked me up around 11:30. After getting to her place, I took a both (see "baths, showers, mirrors" post), then had lunch. She made pasta with an artichoke sauce, beef with tomatoes, and fruit salad. After lunch, we went to her parents' house, who gave me gifts for me, my mom, my aunts, and my cousins.
For dinner we had fried pizzelli (small pizzas), pizza, eggplant parm from my great-aunt, asparagus, and gelato for dessert. Unfortunately, it didn't taste as good the second time around as it did the first.
